    by anewholm

    Current situation:

A list of current lamps including:

    • Lamp type (Incandescent, Fluorescent, Halogen etc.)
    • Quantity of each type
    • Cap/Size (Bayonet/Small Bayonet or Screw/Small Screw)
    • Wattages (usually written on the lamp), e.g. 40W
    • Lamp cost (ask the owner)
    • Maintenance cost for changing lamps (cost per lamp, if applicable)
    • Burning hours per day/days per week
    • Electricity cost per kWh. This is likely to be in the range of: 8 - 12 pence

Are they on a dimming system?

    • Most dimmable compact fluorescent low energy lamps require specialised recommended dimmers.
    • Please contact for advice: joe@gil-lec.co.uk

    Desired situation:

    • Grade of new lamps: A - E. A/B is very low-energy. 9carrots does not endorse grades above B.
